Try a built-in voice first

Open Speak, choose a voice, and record a short line or type it. When the take plays, choose a second voice to hear the same words again. Compare the original and changed versions before saving anything.

Clone a voice you have permission to use

In Voices, choose the cloning option and read the passage for about 30 seconds. A quiet room and your normal speaking voice make a better reference than loud or exaggerated speech. You can also import a recording of up to 90 seconds. Confirm permission, then try a fresh take in the new voice.

Prepare a language before going offline

Open Settings > Offline languages while connected and finish the setup for the languages you plan to use. Try a short typed phrase first. Then open Super Translator, choose or detect two languages, and take turns speaking. Wait for playback before starting the next turn.

Use the phrasebook when you need one line

Open 100 useful phrases from Speak or Phrases, pick a language, and search for a line. For example, choose Food & drink and play a request for water. Save the result only when you want to hear or share it again.

Save deliberately

Save a take to Phrases to keep its original audio and generated versions. Before sharing an M4A, listen to the exact version you selected and make sure the speaker has agreed to its use. Deleting your local copy does not recall a file you already shared.
