Tune mechanical keyboard sound without distraction

Choose a sound pack, balance volume, and use per-key controls to make typing feel better without overwhelming the room.

Keyboard sound is satisfying when it follows typing naturally and stays out of the way. KeyThock uses recorded samples and real-time key events, giving you enough control to tune the experience to the desk and the task.

Start with one sound pack

Choose the character you enjoy, then type normal sentences for a minute. Test letters, space, return, delete, and modifiers rather than judging a pack from a few repeated keys.

Balance the Mac and app volume

Set the level below music, calls, and important alerts. Use per-key tuning only where a key feels noticeably too loud or quiet, and keep changes small.

Protect focus and shared spaces

Pause KeyThock during meetings, recordings, or concentrated listening. The app uses key identity to trigger sounds and is designed not to store typed text; review the privacy page for the full input-handling details.
