A Live Photo is more than one image. It combines a still frame with a short motion sequence, which is why ordinary image editors can accidentally turn it into a static photo. Flip Rotate treats both pieces as one edit.
Choose the Live Photo
Open Flip Rotate, choose Live Photo, and select the item from your Photos library. The app asks for Photos access only when you make this choice, and Limited Photos access is supported.
Flip or rotate the complete moment
Use Flip Horizontal to mirror a selfie or correct backwards text. Use Flip Vertical, Rotate Left, Rotate Right, or 180 degrees for orientation fixes. The preview applies the same transform to the still component and every motion frame.
Compare before saving
Press the compare control to check the edited result against the original. Straighten the horizon if needed, and use crop, perspective, adjustments, filters, or overlays when those Pro tools help the image.
Choose Save Copy or Update in Photos
Save Copy creates a separate edited Live Photo and leaves the source untouched. Update in Photos saves a non-destructive edit through Apple Photos, which keeps the original available for reversion later.
Your media stays private
The rendering work happens on your iPhone or iPad. Flip Rotate does not upload your photo, motion, video, or audio to QnSub, and it has no account, advertising, analytics, or tracking system.
