Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for editing, saving, purchases, and privacy.
Will an edited Live Photo remain a Live Photo?
Yes. Flip Rotate transforms both the still image and motion frames, then saves a genuine Live Photo rather than flattening it into a still.
Can I restore the original after editing?
When you choose Update in Photos, Apple Photos keeps the original and lets you revert the edit. Save Copy creates a separate item and leaves the source untouched.
Can I edit directly from Apple Photos?
Yes. Open an item in Photos, choose Edit, open Extensions, and select Flip Rotate. The extension provides the editing tools supported inside Photos.
How does batch editing work?
Select up to 50 supported items, choose one transform recipe, preview it, and then save copies or update eligible Photos items.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro adds crop presets, adjustments, the full filter set, effects, overlays, perspective correction, audio controls, batch editing, and advanced export choices. It is a one-time StoreKit purchase, not a subscription.
Are my photos or videos uploaded?
No. Editing runs on your device. Flip Rotate has no QnSub media server, account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking.
