An outfit score is most useful when it helps you decide what to do next. FitCheck - AI Stylist reviews the clothes that are visible, considers where you are going, and highlights a few changes with the greatest potential impact. A thoughtful input makes that feedback more specific.
Start with a clear head-to-shoes photo
Use even lighting and keep one main person in frame. Let the full silhouette, footwear, and major accessories remain visible. A mirror photo can work, but heavy shadows, motion blur, large obstructions, and extreme camera angles make fit and proportion harder to judge.
Choose the occasion before reading the score
The same outfit can be strong for an everyday errand and underdressed for a formal event. Set the closest occasion, or write a short custom one, so occasion match reflects the actual plan instead of a generic idea of being well dressed.
Read the breakdown before the overall number
The overall score is a summary, not the whole answer. Look for the highest and lowest visible categories. A strong color combination with weaker footwear match suggests a smaller, more useful intervention than replacing the entire outfit.
Change one or two things first
Use the ranked suggestions as a short experiment. Adjust a shoe, layer, proportion, or accessory, then decide whether another scan would help. Personal style still belongs to you; the scorecard is one informed opinion, not a rule.
Use privacy controls that fit the moment
FitCheck can retain a local scorecard and optional photo for comparison. Turn on Private Analysis when you want the submitted image discarded after the check, and use Delete All Scans whenever you want to clear the local archive.
