Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about better photos, analysis, privacy, history, and subscriptions.
What makes a good outfit photo?
Use a clear, well-lit photo with one main person and the clothing visible from head to shoes where possible. Avoid group photos, heavy blur, and dark lighting.
What does FitCheck score?
FitCheck reviews color combination, fit, clothing coordination, shoes, accessories, proportions, occasion match, and overall cohesion. If something is not visible, the app should mark it unavailable instead of guessing.
Does FitCheck rate my body or attractiveness?
No. The analysis is limited to visible clothing and styling for the occasion you select. Scores are a styling opinion, not an objective judgment about the person wearing the outfit.
What happens to the photo during AI analysis?
Before the first remote upload, FitCheck explains what will be sent and asks for your permission. Choosing Not Now sends nothing. If you allow remote analysis, the app sends a re-encoded copy no larger than 1400 pixels through FitCheck's Cloudflare service to OpenAI, with location, camera, and timestamp metadata removed. OpenAI response storage is disabled. Its standard API controls may still retain content for up to 30 days in abuse-monitoring logs. Cloudflare may cache the completed scorecard without the photo for up to 10 minutes so a lost response can be delivered safely, then removes it through scheduled deletion.
How do I change remote AI permission?
Open FitCheck Settings and use the remote AI option under Privacy. Turning it off stops future photo uploads. You can turn it back on there later if you want to use remote analysis again.
Can I keep only the scorecard?
Yes. Turn on Private Analysis in Settings to discard the on-device scan photo after analysis and retain only the scorecard. You can also turn off saved scan photos separately. Private Analysis controls local photo saving and does not replace the separate permission for remote AI.
How do I delete my scan history?
Delete individual scans from History or use Delete All Scans in Settings. Deleting the app also removes its private local container. Photos you exported to another app must be deleted there separately.
What are the FitCheck Pro prices and analysis limits?
U.S. pricing is $3.99 per week, $49.99 per year, or $119.99 for Lifetime. Weekly and yearly provide access while the subscription is active and include up to 25 successful analyses per rolling 24 hours and 100 per rolling 30 days. Lifetime is a one-time purchase that never expires and includes 1,000 total successful analyses, still subject to those daily and rolling 30-day limits. The Lifetime total does not renew or reset. Failed or rejected analyses do not count. Apple shows the final localized price before you confirm a purchase.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Apple manages subscriptions and payments. Open the subscription management option in FitCheck Settings or follow the steps in the QnSub App Help Center.
