Abacus is an iPhone and iPad Soroban simulator, course, and practice app. This policy explains the local information it stores, the Apple services it can contact, and your deletion choices.
No account or developer service
Abacus does not require a QnSub account, name, email address, sign-in, or public profile. QnSub does not operate a backend that receives your lessons, practice answers, statistics, achievements, settings, or purchase credentials.
Information stored on your device
Abacus stores lesson progress, stars, mastery information, practice results, streaks, statistics, achievements, selected frame and appearance settings, accessibility preferences, onboarding state, and a cached purchase-entitlement state in its local app container.
Permissions
Abacus does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo-library, notification, or App Tracking Transparency permission.
Purchases and update checks
Abacus can contact Apple to load, purchase, or restore Abacus Pro Lifetime and to perform an anonymous App Store lookup for a newer app version. Apple processes payment credentials, transaction history, storefront information, refunds, and Apple Account records under Apple's policies. Abacus receives only the product and entitlement information needed to display or unlock features. QnSub does not receive payment-card details.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Abacus has no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, remote AI, or crash-reporting SDK. It does not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Backups
Local app data may be included in device or iCloud backups according to your Apple device and backup settings. QnSub cannot access or control those backups.
Your controls and deletion choices
- Use Settings > Data > Reset to Factory to delete local progress and preferences and return to the introduction.
- Delete the app to remove its ordinary local app container.
- Manage Apple-controlled backups through your device or Apple Account settings.
- Apple purchase history remains with the Apple Account and is not erased by an in-app reset. A verified purchase can be restored.

Children
Abacus is an educational tool that can be used by learners of different ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information through a QnSub service because the app has no QnSub account or data backend.
Changes and contact
QnSub may update this policy when app features or data practices change. For privacy questions, email appsupport@qnsub.com. Because QnSub does not keep a server copy of Abacus learning data, support cannot view or remotely delete information stored only on your device or in Apple-managed backups.
