Timebox Tracker is an iPhone and iPad task queue and focus timer. This policy explains what the current app stores, the one optional permission it can request, and the controls available to you.
No account or online service
Timebox Tracker does not require an account, name, email address, social login, subscription, or purchase. The app does not operate a QnSub backend for your task data and does not upload your tasks or focus history to QnSub.
Information stored on your device
Timebox Tracker uses SwiftData to store task titles, optional notes, chosen durations, task order, completion state, focus-session start and end times, focused duration, app preferences, feature-tour status, and any supported legacy habit records imported from an earlier development version. This information remains in the app's local data container.
Timer notifications
If you enable focus alerts and grant notification permission, Timebox Tracker schedules a local, one-time notification for the current timebox deadline. The operating system delivers that alert. Pausing, ending, or disabling the session cancels the pending alert. Notification content is not sent to QnSub.
CSV export and sharing
When you choose to export, Timebox Tracker creates a temporary CSV file containing the task or legacy-history fields shown in the export. The system share sheet lets you choose a destination. The selected destination app, service, or recipient handles the file under its own privacy practices. QnSub does not receive a copy through Timebox Tracker.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Timebox Tracker does not include third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. It does not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, track you across other companies' apps or websites, or request App Tracking Transparency permission.
Purchases
Timebox Tracker has no subscription, in-app purchase, premium tier, or payment account. All current features are included.
Your controls and deletion choices
- Delete an individual task from its task menu.
- Use Delete all data to clear tasks and task/session history while retaining app preferences and tour completion.
- Use Reset to factory settings to stop the timer, delete tasks and all histories including legacy habit data, remove pending and delivered app alerts, clear cached exports, restore default preferences, and show the feature tour again.
- Delete the app to remove its ordinary local app container. Exported files and device backups must be removed separately.
- Manage notification permission in the system Settings app. An in-app reset cannot change the operating system's authorization record.
Device backups
Local app data may be included in device backups according to your iOS, iPadOS, and iCloud backup settings. QnSub does not control those backups.
Children
Timebox Tracker is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information through a QnSub service.
Changes to this policy
QnSub may update this policy when the app's features or data practices change. The effective date will be revised when that happens.
Contact and privacy requests
For support or privacy questions, email appsupport@qnsub.com and include “Timebox Tracker privacy” in the subject. Because Timebox Tracker has no QnSub account or server copy of your task data, local deletion must be performed on your device.
