StudioBlur Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of StudioBlur ("StudioBlur" or "the app"), published by QnSub ("we", "us"). By downloading or using StudioBlur, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use StudioBlur on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA regarding the app license, Apple's terms govern.

2. What StudioBlur does

StudioBlur is a creator camera and writing-assistance app. It records processed media with background effects and creator tools, and can generate optional AI-assisted ideas, hooks, captions, talking points, and scripts. It is a creative utility and does not provide legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice.

3. Basic and Pro + AI plans

StudioBlur is free to download with Basic features and a one-time allocation of starter AI credits. The app may offer:

  • Pro + AI Weekly: an auto-renewing one-week subscription that unlocks Pro features and grants 10 AI credits per verified renewal. Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next renewal period.
  • Pro + AI Lifetime: a non-consumable, one-time purchase that permanently unlocks Pro features and grants 1,000 non-expiring AI credits.
  • Pro + AI Lifetime 72-Hour Offer: a separate non-consumable lifetime purchase that may be shown to eligible users for a limited eligibility period and provides the same permanent features and 1,000 non-expiring AI credits.

Features, credit costs, eligibility, and the localized price currently offered are shown in the app before purchase. A credit is consumed only for a successful generation as described in the app. Network or provider availability can affect whether an AI request succeeds.

4. Subscription billing and cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. The weekly subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device's App Store subscription settings. Deleting StudioBlur does not cancel a subscription.

Purchases, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple. QnSub does not receive your payment-card details and cannot issue an App Store refund directly. To request a refund, visit Apple's Report a Problem site. Restore Purchases is available in the app.

5. Founder Pro

Eligible customers who purchased an earlier paid version of StudioBlur may receive permanent Founder Pro after Apple verifies the original app transaction. Founder status is tied to valid App Store transaction information and may not apply if Apple cannot verify the purchase or if it was refunded or revoked.

6. AI features

AI output is generated automatically and can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or similar to output generated for other users. Review and edit it before publishing or relying on it. Do not use AI output as professional advice or as the sole basis for important decisions.

You must not submit content you lack the right to process, or use the AI features to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or abusive content. You retain your rights in text you submit. You give QnSub and its service providers a limited right to process that text solely to provide, protect, and troubleshoot the requested service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Your media and rights

You are responsible for the videos, photos, backgrounds, audio, names, logos, people, locations, and other content you record, import, save, or share. Make sure you have all rights, releases, and permissions needed for your use and publication of that content.

8. Privacy

Camera effects and media rendering are local to the device. Optional AI features process submitted text and limited service data through QnSub's Cloudflare-hosted service and OpenAI. StudioBlur does not send camera media, face data, or audio to the AI service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse StudioBlur or its service, including by interfering with operation or security, evading credit or entitlement controls, submitting malicious requests, attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering except where law permits it, or creating or distributing unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or abusive content.

10. Availability and changes

Camera and AI results depend on device capabilities, lighting, network access, and third-party service availability. We may update the app, fix defects, modify free features, or discontinue unavailable service integrations. We will not intentionally remove a valid purchased entitlement, but specific features may need to change for security, legal, platform, or technical reasons.

11. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, StudioBlur is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not fully apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QnSub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss arising from use of or inability to use StudioBlur or its generated output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Termination

You may stop using StudioBlur at any time. We may limit service access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms. Subscription cancellation and refunds remain governed by Apple.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as StudioBlur changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
