Every SlidePop board is built around the same happy goal: move the chunky blocks until red Pip has a clear route to the exit. The best approach is calm, visual, and easy to repeat.
Start at the exit
Look at the spaces directly between Pip and the green exit. Identify the first block that interrupts that route, then ask where it could move. Working backward from the exit often makes the board feel smaller.
Treat empty spaces as a tool
Each board has two empty cells. They are not wasted space—they are what let the other blocks move. Before sliding a block, notice which empty cell it will consume and which new space the move will create.
Make room before moving Pip
Pip does not always need to move first. A useful setup move can shift a block away from the exit, create a lane, or reposition an empty cell for the move that follows.
Use hints to learn the pattern
SlidePop hints teach in stages. First they draw attention to the right block, then show direction, animate the move, and finally perform it. Pause after each stage and try to explain why that move helps; the same idea often appears in later puzzles.
Ignore par while learning
A puzzle is still solved when you use more moves than par. Finish the board first, then replay it if you want to improve the star result. There is no timer and no failure screen pushing you to rush.
