Does Monkey King work offline?
Yes. The story episodes are designed to work offline. Game Center leaderboards, achievements, iCloud saved games, and StoreKit purchases require Apple services and a network connection.
Do I need Game Center to play?
No. Casual mode keeps progress local on the device. Game Center mode enables Apple-hosted leaderboards, achievements, and a versioned iCloud saved-game snapshot.
What purchases are available?
All episodes are free. Optional StoreKit purchases include consumable coin packs and non-consumable Ascension products for permanent upgrade tiers and cosmetic effects. Prices are shown by Apple in the app.
How do I restore purchases?
Open the Ascension Packs area in the market and use Restore Purchases. The app also refreshes current StoreKit entitlements at launch when Apple services are available.
How do iCloud saves work?
In Game Center mode, the app can store a versioned gameplay snapshot in the player's iCloud account. The snapshot may include progress, coins, upgrades, fleets, fortifications, pets, and loadout state. QnSub does not operate or receive this cloud save.
Does Monkey King have ads, analytics, tracking, or custom accounts?
No. The app is built without advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking, third-party SDKs, or a QnSub account system.
What happens when I use Factory Reset?
Factory Reset clears progress, equipment, upgrades, local test grants, earned coins, best runs, and preferences. It preserves unspent consumable coins purchased through the App Store and processed-transaction safeguards.
Where can I read the privacy policy?
The full policy is at /monkeyking/privacy. Short version: QnSub does not collect gameplay data, and the app does not track you.
What is the expected age rating?
Apple sets the final age rating from the App Store questionnaire. The expected result is 13+ if the combat is classified as frequent cartoon or fantasy violence.
