Monkey King: Island Defense is an action-platforming game for iPhone and iPad. It is designed around offline episodes, local progress, optional Apple Game Center features, optional iCloud saved games, and Apple StoreKit purchases.

What the app stores locally
Monkey King may store the following on your device:
- Gameplay progress, completed episodes, best runs, Mission Mastery objectives, scores, and settings.
- Equipment, relic loadouts, permanent upgrades, fleets, island fortifications, pets, and combat state.
- Earned coin balances, purchased coin balances, and processed StoreKit transaction identifiers needed to prevent duplicate delivery.
- Preferences such as selected play mode, controls, sound settings, and other game options.
This local gameplay data is used to run the game on your device. QnSub does not upload it to a QnSub server.
Apple Game Center and leaderboards
If you choose Game Center mode, Apple Game Center may handle leaderboards, achievements, player authentication, and related Apple-hosted game services. These services are provided by Apple and are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policies.
Optional iCloud saved games
In Game Center mode, Monkey King may keep a versioned gameplay snapshot in the player's iCloud account. The snapshot can include progress, coin balances, upgrades, fleets, fortifications, pets, and loadout state. QnSub does not operate this iCloud storage and does not receive the saved-game snapshot.
Apple StoreKit purchases
Optional purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment, account, refund, and purchase-history information. Monkey King receives verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement results so the app can deliver consumable coin packs and restore eligible non-consumable purchases.

- We do not track users across apps or websites.
- We do not operate a custom gameplay, leaderboard, or cloud-save backend for this app.
Privacy manifest and required-reason API
The app's privacy manifest declares app-only UserDefaults access with Apple's required-reason code CA92.1. The app uses this storage for app preferences and game state on the device.
Deleting your data
The app includes a Factory Reset option that clears progress, equipment, upgrades, local test grants, earned coins, best runs, and preferences. It preserves unspent consumable coins purchased through the App Store and processed-transaction safeguards so verified purchases can continue to be handled correctly.
You can also delete the app from the device to remove its local app container. iCloud saved games, Game Center records, Apple purchase history, refunds, device backups, and Apple account data are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
Children and age rating
Apple determines the final App Store age rating from the current questionnaire. The expected rating is 13+ if the game combat is classified as frequent cartoon or fantasy violence.
Changes to this policy
If Monkey King's privacy practices change, we will update this page with a new effective date. Material changes, such as adding developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or a custom account system, will be reflected here.
