Set up BirthPilot before labor day

Prepare the practical details early so kick counts, contraction timing, plans, bags, and memories are easier to use when needed.

Birth preparation tools are most helpful when they are familiar before an intense moment. BirthPilot organizes planning and personal records, but medical decisions should always follow your maternity care team's instructions.

Complete the calm setup first

Add important contacts, hospital information, preferences, and the bag checklist. Review where each tool lives and make sure a support person can find it if you want them to help.

Practice the timing tools

Try the kick and contraction interfaces before relying on them. Learn how entries start, stop, edit, and export. Ask your clinician what pattern or change should prompt a call for your specific pregnancy.

Keep safety instructions outside the app too

Save the hospital and emergency numbers in the phone and keep written instructions available. Do not delay care because an app pattern looks reassuring. Contact a qualified professional whenever symptoms or concerns require it.
