Phone Warmer is an iPhone cold-weather companion with warm visual focus, calming audio, device battery and thermal awareness, and clear safety guidance. It is designed to work without a QnSub account, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, camera access, microphone access, or QnSub cloud sync.
What Phone Warmer stores on your device
Phone Warmer may store the following locally on the device:
- Preferences - visual intensity, reduced-animation choice, calming music selection, and app settings.
- Safety acknowledgement - whether you have reviewed required safety guidance where the app asks for it.
- Purchase state - local entitlement status received through Apple's StoreKit APIs.
- Comfort-control state - local state needed to unlock or manage supported controls inside the app.
Device status
Phone Warmer may read device battery level, Low Power Mode state, and Apple's thermal status categories so it can present device-safety context. iOS does not provide apps with an exact internal temperature in degrees, and Phone Warmer does not create or upload a temperature log for QnSub.
Audio and haptics
Phone Warmer may play bundled calming audio tracks and use device haptics for local feedback. The app does not record audio, access the microphone, or upload audio activity to QnSub.
Purchases
Phone Warmer may offer Pro access through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes purchases, refunds, restore purchases, payment information, and App Store account details under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
Network, analytics, and ads
Phone Warmer does not require a QnSub account and does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. Core settings and session behavior are designed to stay on the device. Network access may be used by Apple system services for App Store purchases, restore purchases, and normal device services.
What we do not do
- We do not require a Phone Warmer account.
- We do not sell app activity or device-status data.
- We do not include advertising SDKs.
- We do not include analytics SDKs.
- We do not upload your preferences, comfort-control state, or device-status readings to QnSub.
- We do not access the camera or microphone.
- We do not track users across apps or websites.
iCloud and device backups
Data stored locally by Phone Warmer may be included in your normal device backups depending on your iOS, iCloud, and backup settings. Apple system services such as App Store purchases, device backups, and Low Power Mode are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
Deleting your data
You can change settings inside Phone Warmer where controls are available. You can also delete Phone Warmer from your iPhone to remove the app and its local data container. Device backups or exported copies must be deleted separately from the places where they were saved.
Safety note
Phone Warmer is not a heater, medical device, emergency tool, thermometer, or replacement for warm clothing. Stop using your device if it becomes unusually hot, uncomfortable, damaged, or displays a temperature warning.
Changes to this policy
If Phone Warmer's privacy practices change, we will update this page with a new effective date. Material changes, such as adding cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or a QnSub account system, will be highlighted.
