Overview
Love Radar is a relationship-reflection app that works without an account or QnSub backend. It does not contain advertising, use third-party analytics or attribution SDKs, track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, or request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, messages, or social accounts.
Data stored on your device
Love Radar uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store app-owned information in its private local container. This may include:
- Your selected pronouns and optional relationship context.
- The active session identifier, dates, question-bank version, current question, question count, and observation cycle.
- Question identifiers, rendered question text, categories, answers, answer timestamps, scoring contributions, and sequence information.
- Signal Strength, Assessment Coverage, category counts, checkpoint dates, and locally saved Radar Journal snapshots.
- App preferences such as appearance and haptics.
This information is used to select relevant questions, calculate the reading, resume the assessment, support undo, show results, and display private checkpoint history.
Bundled question content
The 2,600-question bank is included with the app as a read-only resource. Love Radar selects from that local resource and does not send your answers or question history to QnSub for scoring.
No surveillance or permission access
Love Radar does not read another person's device, messages, photos, contacts, calendar, accounts, browsing activity, microphone, camera, or location. The app's score comes only from the answers you choose to enter.
App Store update check
When Love Radar launches or returns to the foreground, it may periodically contact Apple's public App Store lookup service to check whether a newer version is available. The request contains the Love Radar bundle identifier and may include your device region country code. A successful check time is cached locally for approximately 12 hours. QnSub does not operate this service or receive your answers through it. Apple's privacy practices apply to Apple's service.
App Store purchases
If Love Radar Plus is offered through the App Store, Apple processes the purchase, restoration, refund, receipt, Apple Account, and payment information. Love Radar may read the verified entitlement needed to unlock Plus features. QnSub does not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Love Radar does not use an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, attribution SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, tracking domain, or cross-app identifier. QnSub does not sell or rent Love Radar data.
Deleting your data
Use Reset Love Radar in Settings to remove the active assessment, answers, score, selected pronouns, relationship context, and locally saved session data. This cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes its local app container. App Store purchase records remain with Apple and are managed through your Apple Account.
Device backups
Your device operating system may include local app data in a device backup according to your Apple backup settings. QnSub does not control those backups. Review your device and Apple Account settings if you do not want Love Radar data retained in a backup.
Safety and sensitive reflections
Relationship reflections can be personal. Avoid entering names or identifying details when they are not needed. Love Radar is not a consent detector, mind-reading tool, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice. A clear boundary or safety concern should always take priority over a score.
Children's privacy
Love Radar is not directed to children under 13, and QnSub does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Because Love Radar has no account or QnSub backend, QnSub does not receive assessment responses from the app.
Security
Love Radar relies on Apple's application sandbox and device security for local storage. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device protected with an up-to-date operating system and device passcode.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Love Radar's features, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
