CashClutter Privacy Policy
How CashClutter stores app data and uses Cloudflare, its configured AI provider, RevenueCat, eBay, and Apple.
CashClutter helps you identify items, estimate potential resale value, prepare listings, plan cash goals, and record sales. This policy describes the current app and service implementation, including what stays on your iPhone, what is sent to service providers, and what happens when you choose Reset to Factory.
Data stored on your iPhone
Your inventory and item records, photos, valuations, groups, goals, listing drafts, offers, sales, preferences, and cached responses are primarily stored in CashClutter's private app container on your iPhone. Service credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. This information is not public. Photos and records leave the device only for the service functions described below or when you intentionally export or share them.
No sign-in or public account
CashClutter has no sign-in and does not create a CashClutter account, public profile, social feed, or public inventory. The app creates an installation identifier, a device-service token, and an anonymous RevenueCat App User ID so it can authenticate service requests, verify purchases, and enforce purchased analysis allowances. These identifiers are service credentials, not a public or user-facing account.
AI item identification
Before upload, CashClutter prepares selected item photos on your iPhone. Faces and sensitive text are redacted where detection succeeds, and image re-encoding removes embedded photo metadata. The selected photos and any item hints you provide are then sent over an encrypted connection to a CashClutter Cloudflare Worker. Cloudflare routes the request through Workers AI and AI Gateway to QnSub's configured AI provider, currently OpenAI, which returns structured item identity, condition, attribute, and confidence information.
AI Gateway caching is disabled for item-identification requests. Diagnostic logging is enabled, so Cloudflare AI Gateway may retain request and response payloads, including submitted image data and returned analysis, together with technical metadata according to the gateway's configured retention. The CashClutter Worker does not write uploaded photos to its D1 database or application logs. Cloudflare and the configured AI provider process this data to provide the requested analysis under their respective service terms and privacy commitments.
Cloudflare listing tools and service records
For listing-copy generation, CashClutter sends structured item details such as title, brand, model, attributes, condition, defects, accessories, asking price, currency, and marketplace to Cloudflare Workers AI. Item photos are not part of the listing-copy request.
Cloudflare D1 stores hashed installation credentials, a hashed RevenueCat identifier with analysis-allowance counters, temporary duplicate-prevention responses, and limited photo-free sale outcomes used to calibrate estimates. Sale-calibration records can include category, condition, asking price, sale price, currency, days to sell, marketplace, and selected market region. Duplicate-prevention responses are retained and removed according to the service's configured retention and cleanup process; CashClutter does not promise deletion within a fixed number of hours. Operational logs include request ID, route, status, duration, environment, allowance information, and aggregate AI token usage; the Worker is designed not to log request bodies, photos, installation IDs, customer IDs, or bearer tokens.
RevenueCat and Apple purchases
Apple processes App Store payment credentials, payments, refunds, and subscription billing. RevenueCat receives an anonymous CashClutter App User ID and processes purchase, subscription, entitlement, trial, credit-pack, and restore history needed to provide CashClutter Pro and analysis allowances. The CashClutter Worker uses that anonymous identifier for entitlement verification, then stores only a hash of the canonical RevenueCat identifier with allowance counters in D1. QnSub does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.
eBay market comparisons
To find current comparable listings, the CashClutter Worker sends eBay's Browse API item-search details derived from the item's title, brand, model, product identifiers, attributes, condition, selected market, and currency. eBay returns active listing titles, asking prices, conditions, item links, and related listing information. CashClutter uses QnSub's application credentials for these searches. It does not send item photos, the CashClutter installation identifier, device-service token, RevenueCat identifier, or any other CashClutter user or device identifier to eBay. CashClutter does not sign you in to eBay, post listings, or complete transactions on eBay.
Analytics and diagnostics
Optional product analytics are off unless you enable them. If enabled, CashClutter may process product-interaction and diagnostic events such as app version, entitlement state, analysis duration, and item count. QnSub does not use item photos for advertising analytics or cross-app tracking.
Your privacy choices and data deletion
You choose which item photos to analyze and which records to export or share. Optional product analytics remain off unless you enable them in CashClutter's settings. You can later turn optional analytics off from the same settings.
To delete CashClutter data from the app, open Settings > Reset to Factory, review the deletion summary, and confirm. Reset to Factory deletes the app's local inventory, photos, valuations, groups, goals, listings, offers, sales, preferences, cached responses, analytics identifiers and buffered events, local purchase cache, service credentials, and scheduled notifications. It also sends a request to delete the current Cloudflare service device record and calibration records linked to that device. If the service deletion cannot be verified, local deletion still completes and CashClutter reports the issue. Contact support if that happens; the app does not schedule another service-deletion request.
A one-way-hashed analysis-allowance ledger may remain after Reset to Factory. It contains allowance type, granted units, used units, and billing-period boundaries so remaining paid credits can be honored and previously used analyses are not reissued. It does not contain item names, photos, device credentials, Apple Account credentials, or payment-card information. Temporary duplicate-prevention responses remain subject to the service retention described above. Apple and RevenueCat purchase, entitlement, and transaction records may also remain under their legal, financial, fraud-prevention, and service requirements.
Reset to Factory does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple. Copies you exported to Photos, Files, messages, marketplaces, or another service must be deleted separately.
For help with a deletion request, a failed service-deletion request, optional analytics, or any other privacy choice, email appsupport@qnsub.com. Include the subject CashClutter Privacy Choice. Because CashClutter has no sign-in account, providing your current installation from within the app may be necessary to locate the applicable service device record. Do not email item photos or sensitive information unless support specifically asks for information needed to resolve your request.
